September 19, 2006 - Benchmark and Rare Additions
|
Well, the site has finally had over 20,000 hits. This is certainly a notable benchmark, since the site has only been truly active for 4 and a half months. In addition, some very rare programs have been added to the Downloads section, including Cerberus, which is a network scanning program. I have also updated BitTorrent, SoftPerfect Network Scanner, and Ethereal. NetStumbler, coSARA, and WireShark have also been added. These programs are very useful in network security and vulnerability checks. I have also added some new links to the Links page. I am planning on even bigger updates to come as soon as this weekend. Until then, that's what's new around MasterJoe.ORG.

September 9, 2006 - More and More
|
As you can see, the hit counter now averages about a thousand hits-per-day. What does this mean? It means that in four short months, MasterJoe.ORG has gone from less than a thousand hits-per-month, to around a thousand hits-per-day. This means that more and more users have discovered the benefits to this web site. It also means that I will be sure that I am constantly updating the content to this web site, so that every new user will see more and more content, and returning visitors will always have something new to see. On that note, I have just added a few more downloads to the Downloads section, and I will continue to add new programs as I find valuable programs to add. The programs added today are RescueME 1.57, WSock, UnISOFS, and EZ-PC-Fix. These tools are good for repairing many common problems with a PC, as well as many problems that may be difficult to repair with other tools. In any case, I will continue to add more and more to this web site, and I am planning a huge makeover on the appearance. So, keep checking back and watch as MasterJoe.ORG continues to grow.

September 7, 2006 - Changes Made, More To Come

Well, I have decided that i am going to change the colors of the web site, since many people have left my feedback requesting that i do so. Also, I have just finished adding a new program, GMer, to the Downloads section. The program is a rootkit finder, which can help to protect the security of your computer. I will continue to add mor eprograms, ensuring that this web site really is the largest freeware database on the Internet. Also, as any returning visitors will notice, there has been a large jump in the amount of hits-per-day this site receives. In fact, it is over one thousand, just for today. This only drives me to work even harder at making this web site as goo das it can be. I thank everyone who has shown their support by leaving me feedback, purchasing a t-shirt, or simply browsing the web site, and I hope that you will all continue to check back, as this web site will continue to grow rapidly.

September 2, 2006 - Month 5

It has been 5 months, since my work on this web site became serious. Although the domain itself was registered back in March, it was no tuntil the beginning of May, when I was able to do some serious work. Just to bring everyone up-to-date, the version of CleanUp! has been updated to 4.5.2, and it can be downloaded from the Downloads section. Also, there are still some MasterJoe.ORG t-shirts available at the Store, and all are welcome to purchase them there. Otherwise, things are pretty similar. I will continue to focus attention on the Downloads and Links sections, so make sure to keep checking back there. In any case, I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that MasterJoe.ORG is still alive and well, and it will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
