June 30, 2006 - A Month in Review
|
What a month it has been. I have had almost 2,000 new visitors, I have added a huge amount of content to the Downloads page, I have begun an already very successful Affiliates program, and there is still more to come. So, what's next for the Master? Well, How about MasterJoe.ORG t-shirts? There will be a store open for business either in July or August. Although I do not intend to make much on sales, since I will not make the price of a shirt much higher than what it will cost me to have them made, the benefits will be put back into making this web site even better. Dedication, persistance, and determination drive me to improve this web site day after day, and those qualaties will continue to show for what I hope will be years to come.

June 24, 2006 - New, New, New
|
Well, the first change that I hope you have all noticed is the new banner. I hope that you all like it, and I intend to sell t-shirts with that design on it in the near future. Of course, all profits made from that will go towards this web site. Also, I am still adding about 20 downloads each day to the Downloads page, so make sure to keep checking on those. The affiliates program is really becoming a huge success. I hope that a link exchange helps to bring more visitors here, as I hope everything I do for this web site helps to do. There is not much new to report other than that, but continue to expect big things from MasterJoe.ORG, because big things will continue to happen.

June 20, 2006 - They Just Keep Coming
|
Just a few quick notes, but they are important notes nonetheless. The first is that MasterJoe.ORG is now the #1 result on Google for the search term "masterjoe," without the quotes and the comma obviously. Now, I just hope that it will become #1 for all of the search terms included in the META tags. The next thing is that I have added another 25-30 downloads to the Downloads page, and I have added some new affiliates to the Affiliates page. I will continue to strive for my goal of over one thousand programs by the end of the summer. Also, in case anyone has not already noticed, we are already over a thousand hits on this web site, in the month of June. I am hoping to increase this amount 10x by the end of August. That's all for now, but make sure to keep checking back for more updates.

June 19, 2006 - Another HUGE Update
|
The Downloads page is now much more organized, and the page has been divided into separate web pages alphabetically, so that you do not have to scroll forever to get through the list, and so that users are not so overwhelmed when they visit this web site. I have also added 44 new programs to the page, so feel free to check that out. The Affiliates page is still coming along well, and there will be around 50 new affiliates added today. Otherwise, I will continue to add new programs. So, feel free to keep checking back here for updates because they will just keep coming.

June 16, 2006 - The Update I Promised: More To Come

As I promised, 20 new downloads have been added to the Downloads page. I will be continuing to update this page with everything that I find, which I feel will be useful to visitors of this web site. Also, there have been a lot of new affiliates added to the Affiliates page. The web site is growing quickly, and I hope to continue this pace for the next two months, at which time I will update it at a more stedy and relaxed pace. This web site will be around for a long time, and it will continue to offer the best in free resources, downloads, and links to all of its visitors.

June 15, 2006 - What Has Happened and What Will Happen

Well, the Affiliates page is doing better than I expected. I have already added a large number of web sites, who have agreed to add a link to MasterJoe.ORG in return. I hope that this new program will help to increase the number of visitors to this web site because that would help to reach my goal of educating the masses in the field of computers. I have added a few new programs to the Downloads page, and i have added a new link to the Links page. I am preparing for a very large update to the Downloads page, which I hope will happen tomorrow. Also, I am hoping to debut my banner by the end of the week. So, make sure to keep checking back, as there will be big changes happening around MasterJoe.ORG over the next few days.

June 14, 2006 - Affiliates Program

As you may have noticed, there is now an Affiliates page. This page contains links, which have agreed to provide a link back to MasterJoe.ORG, in exchange for my providing a link to their web site here. If you are interested in becoming a part of this program, feel free to contact me via the Contact page. Also, the Downloads page is growing at a rapid rate, and the Links page has received some additions as well. This web site has begun to climb the ranks in Google's search engine, and I hope that it will continue to increase in popularity. Thank you to everyone who has supported this web site so far, and i hope to see a continued increase in support.

June 10, 2006 - Rapid Growth
|
The Downloads page is growing very quickly. As of today, there are over 400 programs available for download. I have not received any donations as of yet, which is alright because they are optional. Someone asked me last night why I do not charge a membership fee to this site. The answer is simple. The initial goal for this web site was to educate all users of the Internet about computer skills, maintainance, security, and threats. Charging for the resources that are made available on this web site would discourage a large number of people from taking interest in those resources. Therefore, the web site will remain free for all users, so that everyone can learn about proper computer maintainance and security. I am still adding links to the Links page, and I will continue to update all of the pages on this site. My goal is to have over one thousand programs available for download, by the end of the summer. Also, I believe that this web site has the potential to become the largest freeware database on the Internet. Not only do I provide the software, but I also provide a link to the home page for that program, if one is available, so that users can check for updates, and get mor einformation about the program.

June 8, 2006 - Big Changes, More To Come
|
As you have probably noticed, the scrolling marque at the top is gone. I had received a number of feedback forms asking me to remove it, and so it is done. I have also received a few feedback requests asking for graphics, and I will be working on adding graphics for this web site as well. Also, some of you may be wondering if I have abandoned the Tutorials and Publications pages. Well, to address any concerns that you may have, I have not abandoned these pages. I am simply devoting the majority of my time to the Downloads page, which now has well over 350 programs, and the Links pages. I will continue to update all of the pages on this web site. Speaking of links, feel free to submit any web sites, which are currently not listed, that you think would benefit visitors of this site. As I have in the past, I will continue to consider all feedback, and I will continue to do whatever I can to make this web site as good as it can be.

June 5, 2006 - Day's Worth of Work

Well, I have been working hard for the majority of this afternoon and evening, but it is well worth it. I have just added nearly a hundred programs to the Downloads page, as well as a few new links to the Links page. I had said a few days ago that I would begin to update this site more frequently, and that I would continue to add a lot more content to the web pages. I believe that I have kept my word on both counts. I hope that you will all continue to enjoy the services that this web site offers, and that people will continue to visit and re-visit this page.

June 3, 2006 - The Changes I Promised

Well, I said that I was unhappy with the progression of the content of this web site. So, I have done what I said I was going to do about it. Although I have only added a few new links to the Links page, I have added over 50 new programs to the Downloads page. I hope that this large increase in the amount of content offered will increase the traffic passing through this web site each day. I still encourage you to tell anyone that you think might be interested in the services offered by this web site.

June 1, 2006 - Over Due Updates

I have not been happy with the rate of progress undergone by this web site over the past week. So, I have decided to change that. The Downloads and Links pages have received some huge over due updates. I am going to continue making large updates to these pages, as long as I am able to find content that I feel is worth adding to them. I am hoping that I will received more feedback from visitors of this site, which contains information on different web sites and programs that they have come across with useful information, that I do not yet have listed on this web site. In the meantime, feel free to check out those pages, and take a look at all of the new programs and links that have been added.
